Dai Dances
About Chinese Dances
The folk dances of the 840,000 Dai nationality enjoy not only wide popularity but great diversity. Most of them imitate the movements of subtropical creatures. The percussion instruments used for accompaniment include elephant-foot drums, gongs, and bronze drums. Different dances have their one special drumbeat and drum vocabulary. The drumbeat is not only the tempo of a dance but a kind of language for people to communicate their feelings.

Achille-Claude Debussy (August 22, 1862 – March 25, 1918) was a French composer. Along with Maurice Ravel, he is considered one of the most prominent figures working within the field of Impressionist music, though he himself intensely disliked the term when applied to his compositions. Debussy was not only among the most important of all French composers but also was a central figure in all European music at the turn of the twentieth century. Debussy's music virtually defines the transition from late-Romantic music to twentieth century modernist music. In French literary circles, the style of this period was known as Symbolism, a movement that directly inspired Debussy both as a composer and as an active cultural participant.

Every child or young adult has his/her abilities and tendencies. Some kids have more than one. In fact a considerable number of children have in them a dormant capacity of developping one or more of those to extreme levels of perfection. Unfortunately, many of them don't get the desirable incentives and help to go ahead and develop and exercise their talents. If you are one of those, and chances are that you may be, make sure that you tell your parents that you want to start learning music and/or also how to play an instrument or get voice lessons. If your family'sfinancial means are not adequate for that, be sure to look for a city, state, or federal
government funded institution. In this site you will find a list of some of them here.
